Brawo, brawo i jeszcze raz brawo!
kurde a skad miałem wiedzieć o której jest mecz :/ dajcie spokój ludzie... malo spostrzegawczu i zwróc uwage, ja pierdziele... :/ sorry :/

DUNFERMLINE ATHLETIC FC… 0
CELTIC… 4
(Zurawski 5, 73, Hartson 10, Nakamura 57,
IT MAY have taken five competitive matches before one of them found the spark, but today Gordon Strachan’s Poles lit up East End Park with match winning performances as Celtic beat a hard-working Dunfermline side 4-0 away from home.
Only a week has passed since the manager promised the Celtic support that Maciej Zurawski would establish himself as a ‘great’ signing and the number 7 took his first steps on the road toward achieving that today as he grabbed a brilliant double.
An outstanding first half solo effort and an opportunistic second in the closing stages of this encounter had the visiting supporters purring and a penalty save while the game was still delicately balanced saw Zurawski’s compatriot Artur Boruc heighten his own growing reputation.
The performance was given further credit by the fact that this was a relatively inexperienced Celtic side, with captain Neil Lennon and fellow midfielder Alan Thompson both absent having been sent off in last week’s defeat to Rangers at Ibrox.
That result made a victory at East End Park today all the more imperative and no doubt aware of the fact that Celtic would still be hurting after that loss, the home side got out the blocks fast and attacked from the outset.
The Pars squandered two early opportunities in the box with towering Polish striker Bartosz Tarachulski looking a particular danger in the air.
But after these early forays from Dunfermline, Celtic countered with Maciej Zurawski showing a glimpse of the talent that has inspired such faith in Gordon Strachan.
The move was sparked by Virgo in the midfield, who pushed his pass out to Mo Camara, who then pumped the ball down the line to Zurawski who had hared down the left hand channel to receive the ball.
Picking up the pass the Pole cut inside between the encroaching defenders and looked up before hammering his low drive past Bryn Halliwell and into his bottom right hand corner.
It was an outstanding finish after a great run and turn with the ball and five minutes later Celtic added a second in comical circumstances.
The goal will be classed as a moment to forget by goalkeeper Bryn Halliwell who, under no pressure whatsoever, sliced a simple clearance straight to the feet of John Hartson inside the D of the penalty box who hit it on the volley and sent it straight into the back of the net.
It took Dunfermline some nine minutes before they recovered well enough to exert their own pressure, but for all their honest toil, which inspired a clutch of corner in the first half, the home side wee unable to test Boruc.
That was until the 26th minute, when Virgo clumsily felled Mark Burchill in the box for a penalty.
With Dunfermline having forced play in the moments leading up to this, the spot kick was a chance to get themselves back into the match, but as the former Celtic striker stepped up and hammered the ball low at goal, Boruc stretched to touch it wide.
This save sparked frenzied scenes as the players and supporters celebrated wildly and with every passing game Boruc only serves to further cement his growing reputation as a solid keeper more than capable of pulling off the spectacular.
In the 29th minute Zurawski set up Nakamura after again chasing a quick ball, this time from Beattie, down the left hand channel, but the Japanese midfielder could only drive the ball off a relieved Halliwell.
As the minutes ticked away, the inspirational Petrov came close to putting the ball on Hartson’s toe inside the six yard box and Celtic could go into the break satisfied that they had been able to cope with Dunfermline’s tireless work rate and still counter with goals.
Dunfermline came out in the second half determined to continue to force play but also to create clear cut chances and Darren Young made the first statement of intent with three minutes played as he stung the palms of Boruc with a long range drive.
Minutes later Zurawski almost added a third after Mo Camara found him with a cross from the left, but having twice tied the Dunfermline defence in knots with clever turns in the box he could only fire over the bar.
The Pole then had a header chalked off for offside and that first half strike had gone a long way toward lightening the mounting burden of expectation that has perhaps hindered his progress in recent weeks.
The third goal in this game however was the key to a more relaxed performance from Celtic in general and while they looked to be a continual threat going forward, they also looked confident at the back with Boruc only having a handful of saves to make in the second half.
The goal was sparked by Zurawski, who robbed Thomson of the ball on the left, cut in and kept possession until Nakamura broke into the box. With the Japanese midfielder in yards of space the Pole simply rolled the pass into his path for a simple finish.
And then in the 73rd minute the Pole added the icing on the cake himself. Their seemed little danger at first when the ball was played forward, but a clever touch by Hartson released his strike partner and after leaving his marker Thomson in a heap on the grass, Magic showed great poise to slot away his second.
As the striker celebrated the travelling support rose to a man to hail his performance, chanting “Magic Zurawski”.
If all Zurawski needed was a goal to get him going, he now had two and this tireless and skilful showing is perhaps just a hint of what’s to come.
In terms of the team performance the manager is likely to be delighted with his inspirational stand-in captain, Petrov and overall will be pleased with the way this relatively inexperienced Celtic side approached this difficult away tie and emerged convincing victors.
And after a weekend of dramatic results in the SPL, last Sunday at Ibrox now seems like a distant, if somewhat painful, memory.

nareszcie The Bhoys zaczynają grać nieco skuteczniej

you're as good as your last performance
